All that’s left of me

2020, Oil Paint on Canvas, 60 x 80 cm

An Exploration of the notions of death and suicide and the moments that occur before and after.

This artwork is a part of the extended study named ‘remnant’ produced in 2021

A Study of Remnance

Whilst some people may feel that their way out of conflicts, mess and a lackluster life is to end it, some may fail to think of the lasting effects they may have on the people around them.

Even if they are not there in body, people surrounding will still have them on their mind in the traces they leave behind: the memories, experiences and relationships they have had in what one may see as disposable but others see as momentous.

This artwork is currently held in the artist’s private collection
